Contest Rules

Measurement: Cigars will be measured after the first Ash falls from them, the contestant will then receive the cigar back so they may finish it. Measurement will be taken from the tip to tail. Measurement will be made from the tip to the longest un-burnt edge of the cigar. Cigar will be allowed to burn out before it is measured. All butt sizes will be recorded by a Wooden Indian Employee.

Cigar Cutting: All competition cigars will be cut to the same length by a Wooden Indian Employee before the contestant handles them. NO CIGAR BITING OR CHEWING, THIS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Judging: A Big Ash Judge will tell contestant when their ash has fallen, and send them to be measured.

In the Event of a Tie: A tie will be decided by a best out of three coin flip. The older of the two contestants will be asked to call heads or tails, and the call will remain the same through all three coin flips. In the event of a 3 or 4 way tie, numbers from 1 to 10 will be placed in a box. All preliminary winners pick a number. Lowest number will win.
