The culebra is one of the oldest and least practical shapes in cigar making. Three cigars are rolled, twisted around one another while still pliable, and dried in that braid. They arrive as a single knotted object. You untwist them, and you smoke them one at a time — or, traditionally, you don't smoke them alone at all. Almost nobody makes them anymore. The rolling is slow, the yield is bad, and the shape smokes unlike anything else in a humidor.
